INVERNESS & NESSIE-Pt 2

“Oooohhh look, there she is!”
“There's who is?”
“Nessie... there she goes, aw drat, she’s gone.”
“Are you sure Barb?”
“Yes, here, look, I think I got a picture… there’s her tail going under.”
“That’s a Rock.”
“No…no… That’s her!”
“Right, How much did she drink at the castle Norm?”
Much like the pic from yesterday, the evidence of Nessie, collected by certain members of TE10 is still questionable.

Even Janice, a true believer, is skeptical, Diane and Harris were napping and the rest were busy gawking at the Scottish cow on the other side of the bus so you can make your own conclusion as to their success in capturing Nessie on film.
As we pass an attraction dedicated to Nessie, Barb is convinced there's still hope for one last sighting.

The Ride back to the ship took a different route, still nothing much but nice hills, an occasional field full of sheep and coming over a hilltop, a glimpse of the ship, right were we left her ,among all the oil rigs.

After a quick fresh-up, a Special Meeting of the We4 Happy Hour Club convened at our usual spot in the Schooner where a motion was made and seconded to dispense with a rehash of the day, the next order of business being: COCKTAILS whereas the meeting was promptly adjourned.
Super Waiter XXX was waiting with a glass of peanuts, returning quickly with our “usual” and his Fabulous Smile.
Damn, this guy is GOOD.
Lenny tried for some Snacks from the Diamond Club but came back with a couple shrimp and some soggy spring rolls.  Oh wellllll.
So Donna whips out some "Costco" Bar Snacks that she had the foresight to bring along for occasions like this.

Next up, Dinner in the Aquarius Dining room. Having secured the menu for tonight at our last meal, Donna had pre-ordered a plate of grilled shrimp which actually came out beautifully presented if not overflowing the plate.  The Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder could have used another 2 hours slow roasting as it was very tough though the Chicken Cordon Bleu for DL was passable.  Chucky accepted Donna’s offer of some Shrimp [Revellino went overboard in heaping her plate high] to go along with his under cooked linguini apparently his and the Chef’s idea of Al Dente are miles apart.
Opting for the safe way out on desserts, Chucky’s Apple Pie ala Mode was fine and dinner ended with another “sigh… perhaps tomorrow night…”

Casino action and after dinner toddies awaited with Chucky getting bored with the slots and for the first time in a verrrryy long time actually sat in at one of the biggest sucker games – Roulette.  And of course after de-riding this particularly colorful game of chance… he manages to triple his by-in before it was time to head to the Schooner to finish the night of with Enselmo who was in rare form.
There was a bridal party onboard {there is always a bride or two to be found in a NOWAT} who had just enough adult beverages in them to engage Enselmo in a lively round of banter, song requests etc., and of course when someone called for a little Sinatra, Enselmo turns to Uncle Chuck to help him out with Lady is a Tramp, followed by Fly Me to The Moon and a good time was had by all... or at least We4 and a few of the bridal party [the rest were just numb].

Tomorrow is a sea day so we closed the Schooner down at midnight, headed back to the casino for one last nightcap and of course Donna hits it big again on a short play.

With that, we head up to Nonny-Nonny, while Chucky knocked out a NOWAT then crashed late since Sleep In would the first order of the morning.

Ciao 4 Now
Uncle Chuck & The Grateful for a sea day tomorrow,
Dragon Lady
